1821- 1831? Rodolphe Kreutzer. Sold by Nicholas Lupot to Rodolphe Kreutzer (1766-1831) along with another Strad and Guanerius for a total of 300fr. Lupot notated the label to read “Choisi par Kreutzer”
1831?- ???? Unknown, but during this time travelled from Europe to NY, possible by Flechter.
????- 1890’s Victor S Flechter – NY dealer
1890? – 1945+? William Clark and family. Sold by Victor S Flechter, a famous 1890’s NY violin dealer, to Senator William A Clark (1839-1925), the founder of Las Vegas, for the use of his grand-daughter. Up to at least 1945 remained with the Clark family.
1945+???? –Unknown, but may have remained with the Clark family
????- 1958. Rembert Wurlitzer NY - violin dealer (1904-1963)
1958-1998. George Kress. Bought by George Kress (1903-1997) for £15,700. Owned by him until his death when it went to Christie’s for auction.
1998 Christie’s – Auction House, London
1998- date. Maxim Vengerov. Bought at Christie’s 1 April 1998 by violin dealer Haim Lazarov on behalf of Maxim Vengerov for £947,500.
